WH Scott & Son Engineers Ltd, an expert in lifting and engineering for 126 years, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). This renowned certification reflects the company’s unwavering commitment to the highest standards of information security and data protection.
ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised standard that sets out the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an ISMS within the context of the organisation’s overall business risks. Achieving this certification signifies WH Scott’s dedication to safeguarding sensitive information, mitigating risks, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
To attain ISO 27001 certification, WH Scott worked with HSQE partner, RKMS to undergo a comprehensive evaluation of its information security processes, policies, and practices. This rigorous assessment was conducted by accredited third-party certification body, Centre for Assessment, ensuring objectivity and impartiality throughout the certification process.
“We are thrilled that we have successfully achieved ISO 27001 certification,” said Patrick Doyle, managing director at WH Scott. “This accomplishment highlights our unwavering commitment to protecting our clients’ data and ensuring the highest levels of information security. To meet the stringent requirements of this standard, our team has worked tirelessly alongside RKMS whose expertise, dedication and attention to detail have been integral to gaining this accreditation.”
